So, today's post isn't about my outfit (although I thought I looked spiffy today! Maybe I'll post a pic later). Actually, I am just ranting about the stressfully long days that go along with being a teacher. I really do enjoy teaching, and I believe I'm making a difference. Sometimes, however, I just want to sleep and not feel guilty that I'm not grading tests or planning a spectacular lesson. You know?
I rushed to get to work today by 8am for a parent meeting (and the parent didn't even show!), and although I stayed until 6:30 last night preparing for today, I was still rushing around this morning! How does that even happen? My kids presented their English colony projects and some were amazing...many groups went above and beyond, making up for the other groups that apparently didn't know I passed out a rubric. :/ Thankfully, my only duty this week is bus duty, and believe me, by 3:45, I was more than ready for a little fresh air! Okay, I think I'm finished complaining. :)
I'm hoping this blog is not only a way for me to get my fashion fix, I'm also hoping it will be cathartic. Kind of like a yoga class.
